Pedal Wild Fitness Classes

  

As indicated by the title, our 'welcome' class will be all about the newcomer! Whether you're new to RealRyder bikes, group classes, health/wellness or returning from a hiatus this 60 minute class will be dedicated to meeting you where you're at. First, we'll show you how to get situated/sized on the bike. Once the bike fit feels comfortable we'll teach you how to adjust, mount, and turn. Additionally, you'll learn the importance of how to incorporate different hand postions during class. The remainder of time will be dedicated to discussing and experiencing a mini-sample class: warm-up, intervals or endurance, followed by a brief cool-down. Aside from getting oriented to Pedal Wild we'll also discuss the importance of variety in your workouts for your body/mind and how to eek the most our of your Pedal Wild experience! All are welcome. Perfect for those new to fitness and/or returning to RealRyder.
After an initial Pedal Wild 'welcome' this class is meant for you! We're very excited to finally offer a RealRyder class for the true beginner. In this 60 minutes class we'll cover the basics: how to set up your bike, hand positions, and introductory drills. We'll encourage you to listen to you body as you experience a beginner level class: warm-up, intervals or endurance, and cool-down. Aside from learning RealRyder drills we'll discuss 1-4 training zones and the important role variety plays in your workouts.  Please come a few mintues before class and ready to ride! All are welcome. Ideal for those new to fitness and/or returning to RealRyder.
Mainly a therapeutic yoga class for the injured or tight athlete/fitness enthusiast. We'll target chronically tight hips, hamstrings, quadriceps, lower back, shoulders, etc. We'll begin class with breath awareness, a basic warm-up, incorporate sun salutes, and address specific areas of the body for the remainder of class. Requests are appreciated and taken into consideration! We'll end with a brief relaxation or savasana. All levels are welcome.
Active recovery is fundamental to any balanced fitness program. Treat your body to our 75-minute restorative practice that will improve performance (by allowing much-needed recovery) and regain lost mobility and flexibility. Restorative yoga clears the mind, calms the body, induces deeper sleep and reduces stress. Poses will include supported inversions, deep forward bends, twists, longer holds with an emphasis on deepening exhalations. We'll conclude with a replenishing savasana/meditation practice. Suitable for beginners or advanced yogis.
This class will start with 40-45 minutes riding the realryder bike. This will involve sprints, turns, jumps, as well as excellent strength training for the upper body.

The last 15-20  minutes of class includes a range of core strengthening exercises. For this class, it is suggested you bring a yoga mat and inside only workout shoes.

 

60 minute endurance ride. 
This class is really special. TRX gives us the opportunity to exercise our legs core and arms in a 60 minute class. Three main components to exercise is balance strength and cardio. In the minute TRX you will see results quickly. The last five minutes will be saved for stretching.

Interval training is shown to increase metabolism, improve cardiovascular function, oxidize fat, recovere from certain medical interventions, improve athletic performance and reduce depressive symptoms. Enjoy a express class of 45-minutes of high-intensity mixed with easy recovery intervals… a little “pain,” for a lot of gain!

A Pedal Wild signature class combining the best of our cycling with the best of our body sculpt. Get your cardiovascular training and strength training in one shot! 60-minutes suitable for beginners to advanced members.
Youth/ High School team training specified programs. Sessions/ Camps offered for teams with focus on strength, cardio and balance. Contact Pedal Wild to set up a team specific program for your team. 

 

 

Policy

 

We encourage our clients to make a reservation in advance for a cycle class to secure one of our 25 RealRyder® bikes or to reserve your spot in any of our other classes such as TRX or Yoga.  Reservations may be made online or by calling our studio.  We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins.  Each client must sign in at the front desk when they come into the studio.

 

We request that new clients arrive at least ten minutes before class in order to fill out an information form and waiver, and so the instructor may show you around the studio, learn about any injuries or limitations and answer any questions.  We encourage all other clients to show up at least five minutes before class.  If you are more than five minutes late, we will release your bike to another client who is waiting for a bike.

 

 

A one-time fee on the 12-month agreement of $99.00 will be withdrawn from the customer's account on the date of cancellation or termination of this contract before the contract period of 12 months is ended.

 

Class series packages purchased by the client must be used by that individual and may not be transferred or shared with another person.
