A New Beginning
Starting on Jan 1, 2011 I made a New Year’s resolution to get healthier and set a goal to lose 70-75 lbs. I decided to try Pedal Wild because my daughter thought that it would complement my new diet and exercise goals. I started riding at Pedal Wild in February. Prior to Pedal Wild I had participated in casual sports over the years and made some brief attempts on the treadmill and bowflex. Pedal Wild provides a great workout, the trainers are motivating and they supported my personal goals. I find it unique in that most places do not have a trainer working out with you for guidance and motivation. With Pedal Wild I have achieved my weight loss goal of 75 lbs and my health and wellness have vastly improved! Now with Pedal Wild and eating sensibly I am maintaining my fitness. If you haven’t tried Pedal Wild, give it a try. I am never going to undermine a yoga workout again! This is a great ride and it will definitely change your health and living habits.

I Love Pedal Wild!
Pedal Wild was recommended to me by my chiropractor, when I told him I was looking for an alternate exercise to augment my running. I was training for a 10 mile race and wanted to build cardio capacity while preserving my legs. The workouts are GREAT, Todd's enthusiasm is infectious, and I am happy to report that I just ran the Monster Dash Half Marathon and knocked five minutes off of my time. A nice side benefit: I have also dropped five pounds!
I am so glad to have found Pedal Wild. I am hooked!!!
Not a Bike Shop!
Actually, I walked into Pedal Wild thinking it was a bike shop. Thankfully Todd was there and he quickly had me sitting on a bike trying some turns. I realized this was unlike any workout I’d ever done before and I was hooked right from the start. I’ve always tried to have some kind of workout program in my life whether belonging to a club or at home. At first my goal was weight loss, but after one week I knew that I was getting more than I had hoped for. I was surprised at how fast my body got strong and I could see the shape of my body changing and how my clothes were fitting. Now my goal is to push myself harder with each ride, to lean, push, and pull harder as well as improve flexibility and hold poses in yoga. Because of Pedal Wild, I’m looking at fitness in a whole new way. Before I thought of working out as a way of losing weight, now I feel fit because I have cardio strength that I didn’t have before. I have physical strength that shows in every aspect of my life from walking up and down stairs at home, to outdoor sports, and working as a waitress. What I like about Pedal Wild is that I can get a variety of fitness classes at one place, it’s close to home, being challenged by the instructors to work harder than I would on my own, and getting energy from other people working out along side me.
