Todd Johnson

Experience:
2010 Trained by RealRyder® Inc to teach indoor cycling on RealRyder bikes and a certified cycle instructor by the American Sports and Fitness Association. Prior to opening Pedal Wild, Todd was the Director of Marketing at Amsoil Sandbox Arena, the largest Indoor Motocross facility in the U.S. Todd has always been an avid fitness buff with an emphasis in extreme sports. He was a motocross racer and stand-up jet-ski racer who participated in the World Finals in 2000. He held previous positions at St. Louis Park High School as the Assistant Hockey Coach and Strength Training Coach from 1993-1997 and participated on the Tonka cycling team in 1989.

Alisha Mayer

Experience:
Alisha has been trained in studio to teach indoor cycling on RealRyder® bikes. She is orginally from Mound and currently resides there, working full-time in downtown Minneapolis.
She is an endurance athlete; having completed several marathons and 50Ks and a handful of 50 mile runs. Her goal for 2012 is to have her first attempt at the Fall Superior Sawtooth 100 miler! Running, training, and competing in Ultra Trail events takes up alot of her time and energy but she would not trade it for the world. Admittly, Alisha is not only passionate about endurance training, she is addicted. She loves to work out hard and push your body to new limits; that is part of the reason she loves teaching at Pedal Wild and spurring others on to greater fitness and health. Being around other motivated, hard-working individuals can only bring about great changes!

Experience:Lisa has been trained in house by Pedal Wild to teach Indoor Cycling on RealRyder® bikes and has consistently attended Pedal Wild classes since November 2010. She was a college swimming athlete at Miami University of Ohio (1985-1989). Since then, she has been an avid runner and triathlete, having completed several half marathons and triathlons over the last 15 years. She enjoys working out and doing a variety of activities to stay healthy and fit as well as inspiring others to join her in exercising and achieving their goals.

Sue Baker

What classes will you be instructing: Yoga Sculpt - a hybrid class of cycle followed by a combination of yoga and muscle sculpting/ toning. Monday's at 9:30am
Experience: Sue is a licensed yoga instructor certified in 2008 and is a member of the Yoga Alliance. She enjoys sharing her yoga practice with others and helping them to improve their strength and well-being. Her philosophy focuses on remembering the Seven Values of Purpose: Be Creative, Be Kind, Be Loving, Be Beautiful, Be Expansive, Be Abundant, Be Receptive. And, always be thankful for who you are and be willing to give it away!

Allie Fetrow

Allie has been an avid spinner for 13+ years. She is a certified spinning instructor (Johnny G/Madd Dogg Athletics) and has been trained in house at Pedal Wild specifically to teach indoor cycling on RealRyder® bikes. Allison is also an enthusiastic runner, and leads a training group for a 10 mile or half marathon event annually. Her main focus is to encourage others to incorporate fitness into a healthy lifestyle to improve overall quality of life by increased energy, body awareness and accountability.

Alison Dunser

Alison is a certified Zumba instructor and is a member of the Zumba Instructor Network. She loves that dancing to the Latin rhythms incorporates her passion for music and performing while getting a full body workout at the same time. She is inspired by the passionate, caring and loving people who enjoy Zumba just the same. Alison is a single mother of a two year old boy and a full time student at Normandale Community College aspiring to work her way into the health field. She plans to get her bachelors degree after completing the nursing program at Normandale and was recently certified as a Nursing Assistant.

Charlie Chase

Charlie's athletic background is rooted in strength training. For over 15 years he has trained a variety of people ranging from musicians to nationally ranked athletes. During the Fall of 2011 Charlie was introduced to Yoga Sculpt and fell in love with the practice. Soon after he was encouraged by his instructor to go through teacher training. Spiritual growth and physical fitness best describe Charlie's journey. Charlie said "Finding a place where people of all levels; beginner to expert; can come to help and support each other while growing their practice is awesome!" It is this atmosphere that helps Charlie connect with each person, guiding them to reach their goals and find a deep inner sense of joy and peace while being welcomed into this wonderful community. |

Samantha Pihl

Samantha (“Sam”) has always been a very athletic person. From basketball and volleyball to competitive snowboarding and scuba-diving, she’s tried almost every sport there is and is always willing to try new ones. Sam was introduced to Yoga back in 2009 and found her new “addiction” in Yoga Sculpt. “A perfect workout in an hour” is what she calls it. She loves it because she has so much fun doing it! Encouraged by teachers and others, Sam received her yoga sculpt certification early 2012 with Charlie! Sam absolutely loves teaching. Sam strives to have a super fun yet intense class. Her goal is to have everyone have a great time with smile on their faces while giving their muscles a killer workout. Sam recently graduated from Orono High School and will be attending the University of Denver in the fall. |
